Neck-tie retainers.-A necktie is attached by the usual slotted plate d, Fig. 2, sewn on the tie, to a collar stud having a flat shank b, Fig. 4. The stud is of the type in which a head c is formed of the same width as the sbank by cutting away the latter. The invention consists in rounding off the edges of the flat shank and head so as not to damage the button-holes.
