Abstract
21,115. Robson, T. Sept. 23. Bench fittings.- I n a carpenters' bench stop the plate A, secured by screws in the opening b of the bench B, has a depending frame C the horizontal end D of which forms a bearing-support for a screw E passing through the plate A and provided with a grooved head e for turning it. A bar F, also passing through the plate A and having a toothed stop H, carries an horizontal projection G one end of which is adapted to engage the screw E, so that by turning the screw, the stop H may be raised or lowered. A protecting- block is provided to fit over the teeth on the stop H to prevent the wood from being marked by them.
