Abstract

20,390. Optische Anstalt C. P. Goerz Akt.-Ges. Sept. 13, 1906, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Optical instruments; telescopes; microscopes.- To prevent fatigue of the idle eye when monocular instruments are being used, a collimator b with a mark d is fitted and adjusted to secure the same focal adjustment for each eye. Scales may be mounted in the collimator to project into the principal image for micrometrical purposes. A pair of these collimators may be employed, one on each side of the usual eyepiece, to allow of either the right or the left eye being used for the observation.
