Abstract
19,288. Antoine, V. Aug. 28, 1906, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Foul waters, treating; precipitating, settling, and decanting; tanks for.-Waste water such as that from paper-making machines is supplied by the pipe E to the funnel C, deposits impurities in the conical vessel A, and leaves by the overflow channel F and pipe G. A perforated plate D supporting aluminium sulphate is placed in the funnel C slightly below the level of the water in the vat A, so that solution takes place slowly.
