Speed indicators.-In the apparatus described in Specification No. 13,424, A.D. 1898, a separate adjustable pointer is used so that the marker can be moved to record several diagrams without disturbing the pointer. The marker 6 is secured to the rocking lever 5 by a screw 1, and the pointer 4 is separately attached by a screw 3 and lock-nuts 2, 2<1>.
