Cigar cabinets.-A cabinet or nest of trays', especially adapted for containing small and light articles such as sample goods in stores, cigars, &c., comprises a number of trays A<1>, A', A<3>, preferably equal in area and pivoted on both sides D at e to two pairs of parallel-motion levers C<1>, C<2>, which are fulcrumed at c', c' to the sides of a tray A fixed to a preferably weighted base B. One or more drawers A<4> sliding on guides b may be coupled at both sides by links &c., C to extensions of the levers C' so as to be actuated simultaneously with the trays A<1>, A<2>, A<3>. Extensions of the levers C<2> may be shaped as shown at C<3>, so as to engage the grooves f<1> and automatically raise the lid F<1>. To conceal the levers and strengthen the nest laterally, the sides of the trays are preferably made with double walls between which the levers C<1>, C<2> work. A handle g and a similar one on the front of the drawer A' may be provided. When closed, the nest resembles an ordinary chest of drawers.
