The brackets j are slotted to slide vertically, and are normally raised by eccentrics e mounted on the. axle c. The eccentrics are turned to allow the body of the vehicle to be lowered, by a pivoted lever a which is operated by hand. The blocks h may be secured to the brackets j so as to act on the hubs of the wheels.
