Winding-machines; creel arrangements. -The spindles of machines for winding yarn from pirns on to bobbins for beaming are mounted in frames a, Fig. 2, which can oscillate about the rod b, or they may themselves oscillate in brackets ax, Fig. 3, in order to relieve the tension of the yarn. A stop g and springs k, or a spring or elastic band d<x>, may be fitted to limit the oscillation ; in the latter case, the rotation of the spindle is regulated by a band j which bears against the grooved pulley f.
