Abstract

Yarns, warping and beaming. - In machines 'for warping, beaming, or otherwise winding yarn in which a traverse mechanism for the threadguides must be adjusted by the operator from time to time, a tapering heart-shaped cam A, Figs. 3 and 4, is used, the follower roller C, Fig. 2, on the cam-lever B being adjustable parallel to the axis of the cam so as to vary the traverse. The follower is mounted in a bracket D adjusted by a screw E along a transverse guide-way near the end of the cam-lever. The attachment point of the rod H connecting the lever with the thread - guiding mechanism is varied to re-adjust the position of the threadguides after an adjustment of the follower has been made. ‹
