In order to adapt the cowl, when detached, for use as a boat, it is fitted with a hinged end plug c, forming the bow, a keel d, a rudder e, a hinged mast g, and a canopy f which covers the mouth b of the cowl when it is used as a boat. When the cowl is in ordinary use, the mast and end plug are housed, as shown in Fig. 1.
