Abstract

27,132. Fitzpatrick, H. D., [Dilks, I. C., and Park, J.]. Dec. 29. Bottles, non-refillable.-The neck of the bottle, Fig. 1, is closed at the top, and weakened by means of a groove c, a hole d being provided through which the handle of a corkscrew may be inserted to break off the top of the neck in opening. The cork is inserted, and the bottle filled, through an opening in the bottom of the bottle, which is finally sealed by a ground stopper g locked in place by a spring pin j. In the modification shown in Fig. 3, an auxiliary stopper is locked in the neck above the cork. A rubber ring m placed around the stopper g may be removed and placed around the broken part of the bottle neck, if it is desired to drink out of the bottle.
