The plaited strips are held in position and the pump and valve connecting ends fixed by means of short metal tubes e kinked as shown in Fig. 3. To hold the tube in the hollow of the pump when not in use, the valve connecting end carries radial spring arms f having a base part f<2> which is threaded on the nipple c<2> and locked in place by the kinked sleeve e.
