1362454 Fluid springs, hose couplings FICHTEL & SACHS AG 13 June 1972 [18 June 1971] 27497/72 Headings F2S and F2G In a fluid spring, a tubular diaphragm 3 is fastened at one end over a tubular housing member 1 having a corrugation 2 in it by means of a one-piece ring 8 holding the diaphragm 3 against the corrugation 2 in the housing member 1 and a separate support ring 9 between the diaphragm 3 and the housing member 1 in the region of the corrugation 2. In Fig. 2 (not shown) the corrugation is tapered. The ring 9 may be formed in two or more parts from rubber, plastics or steel.
