24,332. Lake, H. H., [Merritt, J. S.]. Nov. 24. Cupboards. -Metal lockers, to be shipped in unassembled parts and erected in situ, are made of a series of parts of identical construction. The side panels are of expanded metal b secured in frames a of angle or other section, the front members of which may be extended to form feet. The bottom panels, of similar construction, are secured to supports d attached to the lower irons a<2> of the side panels. Feet fare secured to supports e also attached to the irons a<2>. Angle-irons g form the door sills. The backs may be covered by sheet or expanded metal i and flat bars j. The tops o of adjacent lockers are bent at the edges and fit into grooves on the top angle-irons which may be in the form of strips n, Fig. 17, and the front and back edges may be bent over the front top bar and back wall respectively, the joints being covered at the front by metal strips. At the outer sides of the last lockers in the row, the supports d, e and the grooves n may be single. Longitudinal angle-irons of the required length extend across. the series of lockers at the front and back upper corners and the back lower corner, and the vertical corners may be similarly secured. One or more shelves may be suspended in each locker on strips carried by the side frames.
