Abstract
20,787. Hitchmough, H. C. and Moore, H. C. Oct. 13. Cameras ; negatives, marking numbers on. - Cameras are provided with devices for marking the negative with reference numerals as successive exposures are made, and particularly applicable where several exposures are made on the same plate. A sliding carrier b for perforated cards a, consecutively numbered, is mounted so that on exposure it is pressed against the negative. The cards are slid successively into the carrier. As the dark slide f is pushed into position, it raises the lever h, and moves the carrier b away from the plate. On withdrawal of the dark slide shutter, the lever h enters the dark slide, and the spring d pulls back the carrier l, pressing the numbered card against the negative.
