Cleats or holders.-A rope, forming part of a pressing - appliance for domestic use, passes round a pulley 22, and is allowed to move freely in the direction shown by the arrow, but is gripped by a rotatable spring-controlled pawl 21 when it tends to pass in the other direction. The pawl is carried back by the rope until a projection 25 on it comes in contact with a projection 26 on the frame.
