Handle-bars.-In order that the handles of cycles may be raised and lowered as desired, the two parts b of the 'handle-bar, gearing together and mounted loosely upon pins i passing through holes, are clamped in position by a plate g pressed into contact therewith by a screw n. The pins pass loosely through the plate g and the front of the recessed head f of the stem. The screw passes through a cover-plate h held by the pins. For increased security, the contacting-surfaces of the plate g and the arms b are provided with radial teeth o.
