Clip suspenders.- A clip for holding plates during developing &c. is formed by first bending a wire to form handles C with a coiled spring A between them. The wire then passes through a hinge piece B and is bent at right-angles to form the gripping limbs D, the ends either being bent over to torm hooks or having blocks of celluloid or the like to grip the edges of the plate E. Pressure on the handles C causes the jaws of the lifter to open to receive the plate, and the spring of the handle holds the plate securely when the pressure is released. The clip maybe used to hang up the plates for drying.
