Abstract
3485. Winslow, J. H. Feb. 20. Golf bags are provided with internal receptacles for clothing &c. used on the links. The cylindrical body c, Fig. 2, preferably made of flexible material, is sewn to the rim a<1> of the disk-shaped bottom a, made of stiff material, and to the stiff top rim b. A portion of the body is cut away at g and a strip h<1>, Fig. 3, of flexible material is sewn to the edges of the opening, thus dividing the bag into receptacles e<1>, h for the clubs and clothing respectively. The receptacle h has straps n for keeping its contents in place, and is closed by a flap k secured by straps s, s'. Rain is prevented from entering by means of a flap t secured by a strap and buckle, The bag may be carried on the shoulder by means of the strap-handle e, and a small stiff handle is also provided.
