Abstract

190,426. Angus, A. R. June 20, 1921. Track apparatus actuating signals on trains and for stopping trains.- Train-controlling apparatus is adapted to give clearance to the train bv oscillation of an oscillating relay 87 to which current is supplied from sources on the track through contacts of a switch 4 dependent upon the direction of running of the train which puts the relay into a circuit which is resonant to one only of the frequencies supplied to the track for up and down running. The armature 21 of the relay 87 puts alternately in circuit with the battery 25, the slow releasing magnets 30, 40 the armatures 47, 51 cf which are in series with the relay 54 controlling the stop magnet 63.
