Abstract

4654. Buck, W. J. Feb. 25. Window blinds.-In order to attach blinds to rollers and detach them without damaging either the blind or the roller, the roller A, Fig. 2, is formed with a dovetailed or other slot B, closed at one end by a pulley or plate, the other end being preferably left open by cutting away the metal plate C, as at E, so that a rod of similar shape to the slot B, over which a pocket or loop formed at the end of the blind has been passed, may be pushed into the slot. The pocket in the blind is preferably closed at one end, which is passed into the slot B first, and the plate C, if readily detachable, need not be cut away as shown.
