Windows.-In order to prevent rattling of railway carriage and tramcar windows, flexible wheels j, Figs. 2 and 7, preferably of slightlyvulcanized india-rubber, are revolubly mounted on spindles h in a frame b, d fixed in the sash, so that the wheels project from the sash and bear against the guides on the fixed frame. The frame b, d is formed with draught-excluding cheeks c, and is preferably stamped and bent from a single metal sheet. The wheels j are preferably formed with metal bushes. A single wheel bearing against one bead may be employed.
