10,478. Patrikios, E., and Pappaelia, J. D. May 8. Stoppers; refilling, preventing.-Relates to the construction of a bottle neck and stopper whereby the bottle can be used once only. The neck consists of two parts A, B, Fig. 2, the top outer part B being retained on the inner part A by four glass tubes C. The stopper G, which is made of glass, is made long enough to enter the lower part B, and is recessed on opposite sides and fitted with spring tongues F. When the stopper is pushed down, the tongues F open out and engage in recesses E in the upper part B of the neck, to retain the stopper. To obtain access to the contents of the bottle, the top part B must be removed by breaking the glass tubes C.
