7707. Obermeyer, H. April 2. Firelighters.-Piecea of fir or pine wood, of suitable shape, are saturated with resin oil and immersed in a mixture containing liquid resin, petroleum residues, resin oil, and turpentine oil. They may afterwards be rubbed in coal slack and small shavings or sawdust, before drying. A mixture consisting of coal tar, petroleum residue, and liquid resin may be used in place of the above.
