Abstract

Cans, opening.- For attaching the sliding cutters to the lids of canisters, such as are described for example in Specification No. 23,233, A.D. 1900, the cutter b, shown in plan on the underside of a lid, is secured and guided in place by two enveloping lips c, c stamped out of the lid. A projection or the like d may be formed on the upper side of the cutter in such a way that, traversing the slot in the lid, the cutter may be moved with facility.
