1938. Bamberg, G. Jan. 27. Tea preparations.-A soluble tablet is made of tea, milk, and sugar in suitable proportions, the tea and milk being separated by means of a layer of sugar. The tea is crushed, mixed with icing- sugar, and treated with a little syrup and extract of malt to form granules, which are then placed in a mould and covered with icing-sugar. Condensed milk is treated with extract of malt to prevent deterioration, and is made into granules with icing-sugar ; these granules are placed in the mould above the tea &c., and the whole is compressed into a tablet.
