Abstract

372. Lemberger, A., and B÷hm, G. L. Jan. 6. Colouring chromo-gelatine processes.-A print of a drawing or the like is made on a sensitive film of chromated gum which, after development with water, leaves a copy of the drawing in sunk lines. The print is coated with a yellow prime colour, all colour except that in the sunk lines being washed off by a sponge. Other colours are applied to special parts of the print, by coating the remaining parts with gum and then washing over with the required colour. This process may be carried out as often as required.
