Abstract
18,763. Sladen, J. M. Aug. 26. Stands. -Relates to stands or supports for bicycles, motor cycles, and other vehicles. Four legs a, a<1>, b, b<1>, connected together as shown by stays f, are pivoted together in pairs at c, the legs b, b<1> passing between the legs a, a' and supports d, d<1> secured to them. Shoulders e, e<1> are secured to the legs b, b<1> to support the posts a, a'. The cycle is wheeled backwards up a platform g, connected by bars h to one of the staysf, so that it can be moved into either of the positions shown, until the axle ends or steps engage the upper extended ends of the legs b, b<1>, when the platform is allowed to tilt until the axle ends or the steps rest in hollows a' formed in the legs a, a<1>. The platform is then moved into the position shown in dotted lines. When not in use, the parts are folded into one plane.
