Abstract
16,554. Wathen, E. C. Aug. 17. Mops; mop wringers.-Fig. 2 shows a mop, and Fig. 3 a bucket-wringer for use in connection therewith. Strips of flannel D, Fig. 2, are secured to bars C carried on, a frame A attached to a handle B. The appliance is stated to be intended for use in connection with the scrubbing-brush described in Specification No. 16,555, A.D. 1901, Abridgment Class Brushing &c.]. The bucket F carries a soap holder H, and a fixed plate g and a hinged plate g<1> provided with perforated corrugated plates G, G'. To squeeze the flannel, it is placed between the two plates and the handle is pulled over into the position shown in dotted lines pressing the flannel between the plates G, G<1>. The Provisional Specification also states that the bucket may have a projecting foot-plate.
