Trouser clips. - Relates to clips or hook fastenings which are specially for use as trouser clips but may also be used for other purposes where clips or holdfasts are required. Two forms are described. The clip shown in Fig. 2 consists of two hook-shaped parts A, B pivoted together by a rivet d. The part A is made with two shoulders a<5>, a<6> and the part B is provided with a projection b<5> which bears against the shoulder a<5> in the open position and against the shoulder a<6> in the closed position so as to limit the movements of the parts A, B. In the form shown in Fig. 7, the part B is made with a U-shaped end b<3> which encloses the end a<3> of the part A. The outer edge of the part b<3> limits the outward movement of the arm A. and an internal projection at the other end of the part b<3> prevents the arms from being moved too far in the opposite direction.
