Abstract

6571. McLennan, W. S. March 29. Canterburies; reading-desks and music stands; stools.-A music cabinet, which also forms a music stool, is fitted with drawers which can be pulled out and made to take up the inclined position shown in Fig. 1. Pegs C<2> or hooks H<2>, and the back part of the bottom B', abut against cross-bars D and hold the drawer in position. Pins G on the sides of the bottom at the back abut against the vertical bars J, and may be used with or may replace the pegs C' or hooks H<2>. When drawn out, as shown in Fig. 1, the drawer can be used as a music desk.
