Tapping; bungs.-The taphole is fitted with a bushing a having perforations at the inner end b to permit the flow of liquid, a flange f at the other end for being secured to the cask, and external and internal screw-threads d, k to facilitate insertion into the taphole, and to engage with the thread j<1> on the tap j respectively. The bushing may be provided with a threaded plug having a hexagonal head by which the bushing may be screwed into position. The cork k<1>, by which the taphole may be closed, is ejected by the tap.
