Abstract
190,063. Homewood, R. W., and Burrell, P. J. Feb. 24, 1922, Presses.-A press for dry-mounting photographs &c. is so constructed as to allow the photograph to project beyond the pressure head, so that a large photograph can be mounted in successive portions; the press can also be easily taken to pieces for packing and transport. For these purposes a bar 5 extends from a slotted lug 3 on the under side of a table 1 to a supporting-pillar 8 screwed through the bar. A blade spring 10 is held between the head 11 of the pillar 8 and a distance-piece 9 and is detachably secured at its other end to a pressure-head 13. Pressure is applied by means of a screw 14 screwing into the bar 5 and bearing on the blade 10 at a distance from the table 1.
