19,342. Sievert, P. T. Oct. 29. Ornamenting glass sheets. Coloured powders, such as granulated glass, are attached in patterns to paper or combustible fabric coated with adhesive material, for application after drying to hot glass to ornament it as described in Specification No. 26,547, A.D. 1898. The pattern is formed by suitably-formed receptacles or partitions a on a plate b within a rim c. The powdered coloured materials are placed in the spaces between the partitions ; a sheet of fabric is then placed on the partitions, coated surface downward, and is covered by a lid g which is secured by spring clamps f ; the whole is then turned over, and returned, when the coated sheet may be removed. Two such frames may be carried on one pivot, so that one sheet may be changed while the other is inverted.
