11,262. Bobby, F. J. June 21. Bedsteads; seats; couches.-Relates to a couch or seat convertible into a bedstead. The bottom is in two parts a, b, hinged at c. When turned over, as shown in Fig. 2, the head d supports the extension a. A spring mattress stretched on the frames a, b is concealed when the couch is in the position shown in Fig. 1. The upholstered upper parts, not shown, of the head end and back may be removed and used as a pillow ; they have dowels fitting in holes on the top of the head and back of the frame when in use as a couch, and on the underside of the frame when used as bolsters and pillows for the bed.
