Covers; caps ; waterproof hats. - Waterproof hats and caps, Fig. 1, are provided with a peak a having an upturned rim c, the peak and rim being continued as a flap b at the back of the hat. The effect of this construction is to cause the moisture which falls on the hat to run down the outside of the flap b. Fig. 2 shows a modification, in which an ordinary cap d is provided with a cover, which encloses the peak d<1> and is provided with an upturned rim c and back flap b. In Fig. 2, part of the cover is broken away to show the cap d.
