One strap, having a perforated end, is secured by the tongue b of the buckle A as usual, and is passed under a metal loop g on the buckle and the usual adjustable loop h on the other strap. The buckle is formed with a stud a which engages a keyhole slot in a plate B secured to the other strap. A loop j secures the loop h as usual.
