Buckles.-A buckle for connecting crossed straps 11, 12, such as harness backhands and traces, consists of a plate 5, with offset loops in pairs 6 and 7, 8, and with studs 9, 10, each placed to clear the cross strap. The loops 7, 8 are wider than the loops 6, the loop 7 being also further offset than the others, so that the trace 12 may pass over the band 11 and also over the loop 8. Through the latter loop is passed a link 14 to which is attached the hame trace 13.
