Abstract
9895. Lake, H. H., [Webb Folding Box Co.]. May 29. Folding-boxes of paper or other material are formed from a blank cut and scored as shown in Fig. 1. The ends 14 have slits 24 which, when the ends and the sides 16, 16<a> are turned up to form the box, and the flaps 17 on the sides 16 turned in so as to abut either on the inside or the outside of the ends 14, will register with the slits 25 in the flaps 17, so as to permit the tongues 26 of the flaps 17<a> of the side 16<a> to pass through to secure the box. The tongues 26 have folding flaps 28, to prevent withdrawal. The blank may have additional flaps 23, to cover the contents, and a lid 19 having a flap 21 for inserticn within the side 16.
