The tyre R is provided with three passages a, b, c, whereby a rubber strip A, B of approximately T-section is formed within the tyre. The passage c is inflated through the valve s, or a separate inner air tube may be provided. The rim is formed so that the air chamber lies entirely within it, and is thus protected from puncture.
