The cover is provided with chafing-rolls d in contact with the edges of the rim, and tension strips D which press the cover against the rim and prevent the inner tube from being forced between the edges of the cover. Modified forms of fastenings are shown in the Specification ; all these devices s prevent creeping of the tyre.
