Shorter elastic cords 15, 16, with end couplings and handles, may be adjustably attached to the strands 10, 11 by a clamping-sleeve 19, Fig. 1, or by rings and loops 22, 23, Fig. 4. The apparatus serves as a chest-expander, and for various exercises.
