Abstract
2669. Anderson, A. E., and X Chair Patents Co. Feb. 10. C h a i r s, seats, hammocks, tables, lounges, &c.-Relates to folding and portable garden, deck, or hammock chairs and seats, tables, hammock supports, and other articles of furniture. The frames A, B of a hammock support &c. are braced together by diagonal stays F and F<2> connected at the junction. The upper part of the frame A and the bail or stay frame D may have corner stays G instead of diagonal stays, in order not to interfere with the fabric C, which is hung between the bars B<1>, A<2>. The foot-rest supports of a deck chair may likewise be strengthened by diagonal stays. An awning support may be formed of bars E, E', clamped in position and capable of folding along the bars A.
