Abstract
189,998. Bernard, R., and Vosahlo, F. Dec. 3, 1921. Implements with adjustable tool frames; lifting parts.-In a motor plough having a front driving and steering wheel 2 and two other supporting-wheels 3, the share frame is raised and lcwered by mechanism driven from one of the two supporting-wheels 3. The share frame 10 is pivoted on a lifting-frame 9 and provided with an extension 10<1> engaging under an adjustable pin 29. The frame 9 is rigidly fixed on a shaft 8 carrying a toothed segment frame 13 engaging with a spur-wheel 15 on the axle 7 of the wheels 3. The spur-wheel 15 is connected by a clutch with a sleeve 18 keyed in the hub of the wheel 3. The clutch is operated by means of a lever 25, a rocking shaft 24, a fork 23, a ring 22, and a spring 20. The frames 9, 10 are held in the raised position by the engagement of a disc 16 with a cam 26 on the segment 13. The frames fall when the disc 16 is moved out of engagement by a movement of the clutch lever. In order that the frames may be raised by hand, the segment frame 13 has worm teeth 30 with which a worm 31 may be brought into engagement by rocking the worm shaft 32 about a pivot the shaft 32 being provided with a hand-wheel 33 and with a locking-pawl to hold it in position.
