Water-tube boilers.-The steam coils G are alternately jointed to the top and bottom of the chambers A, A<1>, which are tied together by pipes B, B' and fitted with trunnions a'. Feedwater flows from a pipe into the boiler at four different places simultaneously. The ends of all coils G, which have braces I riveted to the boxes A, A', also have flanges g<1> which are pressed against copper washers H by the screwed bushes g.
