12,083. Simpson, W June 9. Flower stands.-A stand for supporting a flower pot consists of two rings A, B, connected by legs C. A trough D, supported about midway of the height of the legs, contains water to act as an insulator to prevent access of slugs, insects, &c. to the flower pot. Fig. 2 shows a modification, in which the ring A is supported by legs C<2> on the trough D, which is supported by separate legs C, C<1>.
