The bolt is released by means of a handle f or by a key. An extension i closes the hole in the case. A roller may be fitted at h. The invention also relates to improvements in the lock described in Specification No. 2277, A.D. 1888. The pivoted bolt e, Figs. 3 and 4, is retained by a spring pin j, a projection m on which engages a part of the striking-plate so as to release the bolt.
