Abstract
24,860. Robertson, A. Nov. 25. Lotions.-A wash or lotion for the cure of scab or skin disease in sheep is made by dissolving in water a paste composed of the following ingredients :-Unrefined 60 per cent. cresylic acid and 40 per cent. cresylic acid (both of which contain sulphur), arsenious acid, caustic soda, tallow or other saponifiable grease, resin, and vegetable oil. Soft soap may be substituted for the grease, and a portion of the soda omitted. The invention is stated to be an improvement on that described in Specification No. 3500, A.D. 1894.
