14,082. Haddon, F. D. June 25. Polishing-cloths.-Fabrics, wash-leather, and the like are impregnated with " minerolin " or its equivalent to adapt them for use as polishing-cloths. The " minerolin " is fixed by steaming the fabrics &c., or by boiling them in water or other suitable liquid, and then drying, or it may be fixed simply by heating in the first instance. The yarns from which the fabrics are made may be thus treated, instead of treating the fabrics.
