Abstract
22,507. Fraser, P., and Fraser, N. Oct. 1. W i n d i n g - machines.-The traverse bars or rods J<1>, J<2> on each side of the machine are connected to levers G<2>, G<3> carried by the end frame A and operated by means of levers carrying antifriction rollers H<1>, H<2>, which engage with a grooved cam driven by a belt and pulley C. The different parts are adjustable. The cam is in two parts E<1>, E' which are secured to flanges D<1>, D' on the driving-sleeve B<1>. When it is desired to adjust the two parts of the cam drum for wear, the flanges of the sleeve and the parts fitting upon them are filed to the required extent. The belt for the pulley C is provided with a tension pulley which is adjustable on the end frame A.
